Reminder:
Ho'Oponopono Class to Be Offered by Rev. Kathryn
This Monday, September 15
Rev. Kathryn will be sharing in
more depth than during the Sunday service her experience with Dr.
Ihaleakala Hew Len and the process of Self I-Dentity Ho'oponopono.
Ho'Oponopono is a Hawaiian Shamanic practice that means "to rectify" or
to see things correctly and thus bring about integration of the self
and healing.
There will be two classes on Monday, September 15: one at
12:30 p.m., and one at 7 p.m. for those unable to come during the day.
A love offering will be received.

Unity World Day of Prayer Events Start Tomorrow, September 11
Tomorrow, Thursday, September 11,
is the official Unity World Day of Prayer, and Unity Christ Church is
marking this event in a number of ways.
Join
us in one Spirit, one Heart, one World, one Selfhood in God to
commemorate the Unity World Day of Prayer tomorrow. We are offering two
events on September 11:
Introduction to Centering Prayer (from 6 to 6:30 p.m.) and an hour-long Spirit-Immersion meditation (from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.). Join us for one practice or more. Refreshments served after the service.
In addition, MaryEllen Jirak has prepared an 11-day "Celebration
of Peace and Prosperity," a guided reflection guide that those of you
on this e-mail list will receive automatically (and those who do not
have e-mail can obtain printed copies of). If you receive this
11-day series of daily e-mails and do not want to participate, please
do NOT unsubcribe yourself--doing that will take you off all UCC e-mail
lists, and the office will not be able to re-subscribe you. Simply
delete the daily e-mails; the last one will be sent out on Sunday,
September 21.
We hope you will enjoy these events for World Day of Prayer!
