Hard to believe, but it's that time again--time for giving thanks and for Thanksgiving festivities!

 

This year, we are having a community celebration potluck dinner on the Sunday before Thanksgiving: Sunday, November 23, at 6 p.m.  The church will provide meat; sign-up sheets are in the Fillmore Room for you to bring side dishes that will feed approximately 8 to 10 people.  Michael Hatfield will be here and will bring his karaoke machine--it's bound to be a great time with great food and great company!

 

Then, on Thanksgiving Day, we will have a service at 10 a.m. 

 

If there are people who would like to gather as a community on Thanksgiving Day, please sign up in the Fillmore Room.  There are two options: people can use the church to have a dinner on Thanksgiving Day, but must be responsible for setting up, cleaning up, and bringing the food; or you can opt to go out to a restaurant.  Either way, please indicate on the sign-up sheet what your preference is and give your contact information, so that all UCC-ers who want to be together on Thanksgiving Day know who each other is.

Thursday, November 27, at 10 a.m.: Thanksgiving Day service with Rev. Kathryn

 

Thursday, November 27, after the service: Interested people can either organize a dinner at the church themselves or go to a restaurant--please sign up in the Fillmore Room by Sunday, November 23, to indicate your preference.
