Kathryn graduated from Unity School for Religious Studies and was ordained by the Association of Unity Churches in 1984. She served several Unity churches before coming to Unity Christ Church in San Francisco.
She has an undergraduate degree with a double major in organizational psychology and religion, and received a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy in 1994. Kathryn studied with and was consecrated as a spiritual healer by Sarita Vasquez, teacher and mother of don Miguel Ruiz, Toltec Shaman and author of The Four Agreements. She also studied extensively in the Hawaiian Shamanic tradition of Huna and Ho'oponopono. Kathryn received certification as a Community Mediator from the Conflict Resolution Research and Resource Institute. She has been active and served on the International Board of the Association of Unity Churches and currently serves as Vice-President of Unity's West Central Region.
Kathryn's mission is to sell people on themselves, each other, Universal Truth Principles, and the fact that by working individually and collectively we can create a world that works for all people. She sees Unity Christ Church as a place where people can deepen their spiritual awareness and discover tools to empower their personal development in a loving, supportive environment.
Kathryn is available for guest speaking opportunities in the community and for counseling and spiritual healing treatments through the church. Appointments can be made by calling the church office at 415-566-4122.
