To provide 24-hour a day, uplifting messages in alignment with Unity principles that comfort, excite and rejuvenate those who call.

To provide spiritual, uplifting messages that are clear, understandable and comforting, and that help those who call to reach higher levels of consciousness.

Areas of Responsibility
Following the guidance of the Spirit, the team member selects or creates  an inspiring message greeting to be played on the Prayer Pause telephone line at the church.  They record the  message greeting on the Prayer Pause answering machine via telephone. This can be done remotely from home.  The length of the message greeting is two (2) minutes or less.

Qualities
People who respond to this ministry have a soothing and clear voice and feel comfortable recording their voice onto a cassette tape. They have a deep personal understanding of prayer in their own lives and are dedicated to this ministry and the unseen lives that it touches.

Requirements
Members of the Prayer Pause Team must be active members of the Unity Christ Church Prayer Ministry and be trained in Unity's techniques of Affirmative Prayer.

Time Commitment
Every other month, for a period of one week at a time, once per day, via phone, record a daily message on the recorder via phone. This is a six-month commitment. The length of the daily message is 2 minutes or less.
