This Sunday, December 6, from 1 to 4 p.m.:
 
"Make the Rest the Best!" Workshop with Rev. Steve and Olivia Maynard
 
Following his lesson this Sunday, Rev. Steve Maynard and his wife Olivia will present a workshop titled "Make the Rest the Best!" from 1 to 4 p.m.  As they write, "Today the promise of longer-term vitality gives us a chance for a rebirth during life's second half, an opportunity to 'make a life' rather than just a living. Whether through employment, volunteerism, or well-planned avocations, an inspired and thoughtful approach to our later years gives us a chance for greater fulfillment, satisfaction, accomplishment and contribution--to create our personal legacy." 
 
In this workshop, we will:
  •  Understand the new landscape of aging in America and what it means to all of us
  • Explore our attitudes toward aging
  • Develop a new view of the flow of life
  • Identify our heart's desires--what matters to us at this stage
  • Learn how to refocus our minds if doubt sets in
